Must-See Event: The Two-Day Gurgaon Flower Show
The Gurgaon Flower Show in India lasted two days and it displayed a colorful assortment of flowers. This is one of the most awaited events in India and one of the biggest yet.
According to Hindustan Times, over 4,000 people attended the second day of the Two-Day Gurgaon Flower Show this year. With that many people, the numbers of flowers on display also multiplied, making the event massive. This happened during the second day of the Gurgaon Flower Show at Leisure Valley Park.
The same site also reported and covered all the events that happened in the Gurgaon Two-Day Flower Show. Haryana Urban Development Authority or HUDA is responsible for organizing the event that had Gurgaon deputy commissioner Hrdeep Singh as their chief guest during the culmination.
The Gurgaon Two-Day Flower Show happened on a weekend that is why there were a huge number of guests during the event. The events varied so the crowds were entertained during the different times within the two days. The presentation became livelier as the performers and presenters ranged from adults to schoolchildren of different age groups.
If you are not into the lively and fun programs in the event, you can still choose to enjoy looking at the flowers present in the Gurgaon Two-Day Flower Show. In What's Up Life (Gurgaon), they reported that HUDA claimed the even to have around 150 different varieties of flowers that are on display and even part of the competition. The event started in the 1990s and since then it is starting to grow bigger and bigger.
Recently, around 100 participants joined the Gurgaon Two-Day Flower Show due to the diverse contests and categories they have. Some of the categories are potted flower, terrace garden, cut flower, hanging garden, and even a gardening competition. What sets this event apart was that it encouraged the younger gardeners to continue to pursue their passion for gardening. They gave more or less 35 awards for these children aged 1 to 17 years old. With all these participants and cultural support, the event may even grow bigger next year.
