Holiday House Hamptons 2014: Fourteen Designers Will Makeover Sag Harbor Property
For its second edition, the Holiday House Hamptons has released its schedule, location and participating designers. This year, fourteen designers will be transforming a dramatic transformation of the Watchcase homes in Sag Harbor. This project is done in partnership with Hamptons Cottages and Gardens.
Watchcase is a former factory built over 130 years ago and is now being developed by the Cape Advisors developers into the first resort-style luxury condominium at the Hampton’s. The first model apartment in the development was designed by Steven Gambrel.
For the Holiday House Hampton’s, fourteen designers will design holiday-themed outdoor and indoor environments within Watchcase’s townhouse, penthouse and bungalow with the theme “Luxurious Summer Fun.”
The fourteen designers are Bjornen Design, Brady Design, Campion Platt, Dale Cohen Studio, Elizabeth Dow Home, Elsa Soyars Interior Design, Huniford Design, Milly de Barol LTD, Tamara Magel Home, Thom Filicia, Scotty Formby, Studio MRS, Vicente Wolf and West Chin Architects & Interior Designers. A group of landscape designers including Sam Panton of Terradesign Studio, Lear+Mahoney, Harmonia Inc, East End Gardens and Ani Anstreasyan will also be participating in the said makeover project.
The event is Co-chaired by Iris Dankner and Christopher Hyland, Steven Gambrel will serve as the Honorary Design Chair while Mary McDonald, Thom Filicia, and Vicente Wolf are Design Chairs of the event.As part of the awareness campaign, Campion Platt has designed three window vignettes at Fendi Casa’s flagship showroom at 153 Madison Avenue with the theme on Oasis, Ocean and Opulence. The window vignettes will be up until July 31.
On June 28, Saturday, an opening night White Gala will take place to kick-off the six-week event. The proceeds of this project will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
