LG G3 Cases Leak On Amazon, Available For Sale; Suggest Three Launch Colors
The LG G3 has surfaced again via a selection of new cases designed for the smartphone, which are currently available for purchase on Amazon, GSMArena reports.
The cases are nice-looking, but unfortunately do not offer much on the unannounced smartphone, other than the suggestion that the device will launch in three colors: Black, Gold and Gray.
The smartphone also recently surfaced in a photo that showed a subway rider using the smartphone with a quick-view case.
The highly-anticipated LG flagship smartphone has also surfaced in all three rumored color options in one photo: showing off the brushed metal backs of the black and white models and the front of the sleek gold handset. An unverified sourced offered the shot to Phone Arena, but the images do seem to fall in line with previous photos that show off the device's alleged look. While the back's brushed look certainly appears to be metal, there is still the possibility it is simply a really good looking piece of plastic impersonating the look.

As Android-Authority notes, the image also seems to throw a wrench in the recent rumor that the device will feature stylus, as the feature only appears to be an IR blaster.
The smartphone rumored to be the upcoming G3 will also pack a display with four times the pixels available in a standard HD screen, the smartphone maker announced a couple weeks ago.
Norway-based electronics certification organization Nemko awarded the official QHD screen certification for LG's 5.5-inch LCD display, the company has confirmed, CNET reports.
QHD, which stands for Quad-HD, offers 2,560x1,440 pixels, giving it a pixels-per-inch (ppi) count of 538. A QHD screen offers four times more pixels than a standard HD screen and 1.8 times more than a Full HD panel. The G3's display will reportedly 100 percent of the red-green-blue color scale as well, according to LG.
"This is an ultra-slim panel with a mere 1.2mm thickness and has a 1.15mm bezel, which will be the narrowest available and 0.05mm less than panels introduced last year" said LG in a press release.
