Find out What’s new at the Northwest Arts and Crafts Show
There is no limit to one's creativity and the 29th annual Northwest Arts and Crafts show in Seattle's Magnuson Park celebrates that. This year, around a hundred artists joined and shared their works for everyone to marvel and see. This all happened thanks to Northwest Art Alliance.
The Spring event featured a variety of artists with different works to put in the table. The 29th annual Northwest Arts and Crafts show has been around for quite some time. Locals, and even visitors, look forward to the event every year. This year, there are a lot of activities that support the arts and crafts and these are not just for adults but for kids as well. In their site, Northwest Art Alliance gave out the details of their event that happened between March 25 and 26.
Seattle's Magnuson Park was the venue for the said event and the Seattle Times personally covered the event. They made sure to feature some of the artists and their works there. Some artists are already professionals in their craft. Some works there were unique such as quilting with glass. It's the act of combining pieces of glass together to come out with a sheet that looks like ice. Glass is not the only medium in the 29th annual Northwest Arts and Crafts show, Northwest Art Alliance had artists who used other mediums.
Again, this is yet another proof that art is never limited and self-expression varies from person to person. The displays at the 29th annual Northwest Arts and Crafts show are up for grabs and anyone can purchase their works in support of the artist. People flocked to Seattle's Magnuson Park to spend a day immersed in arts and crafts. As mentioned above, Northwest Art Alliance did not forget about the children. They made sure to have an activity where the next generation can dabble in arts and crafts. They call the area Art-4-Kids table.
The event is free for children under 12 years old. Food and drinks are available in the event as well. If you missed this one, you can still catch up for the next one in fall (no details yet), just make sure to keep an eye out in their site. The 29th annual Northwest Arts and Crafts show became a success and Northwest Art Alliance has its fingers crossed for the upcoming event.
