House in the Beskids by RS + Robert Skitek Presents a Reverent Tribute to Mountain Serenity in Poland
Located along that side of Beskid Żywicki Mountains a house, previously designed by Robert Skitek + RS is an architectural art as it is a matchless combination of both aesthetic elegance and natural harmonization. Throne of the summit, the luxurious bush house is covered by dense forest from different angles; beautiful mountain views are above, great trees are over us, and bush life is all around us.
Strategic Placement
The house is at the center point, facing up and down to create a stunning visual appeal and provide excellent functioning for the home. The vantage point gain is localized through the design of the building where every room has the chance and either a panoramic view of the mountains or a peaceful feeling of forest is provided by the view, therefore, residents are guaranteed a permanent relationship with nature.
Distinctive Design
The house's shape stands out. It consists of multiple roofs with alternating single pitches that add up to different heights. Through two slender galleries, this innovative architectural solution generates spatial activity and visual continuity between internal and external areas, blurring the borders between the landscape and the built area.
Maximizing Space and Serenity
The significant height differential of the terrain is ingeniously utilized to craft an entrance zone with a garage at a lower level, discreetly tucked away beneath the residential zone. The heart of the home resides in the middle segment, where the living area beckons residents to unwind and embrace the tranquility of their surroundings. This central space is a gateway to the children's rooms in the lower segments and the private sanctuary of the parents' bedroom area and bathrooms. Designed for convenience and comfort, the basic residential program is meticulously planned on a single level, ensuring effortless flow and accessibility.

Blurring Indoor and Outdoor Boundaries
The building's strategic positioning allows the living area to open onto two enticing aspects simultaneously, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the beauty of the surrounding landscape. A covered terrace at the rear of the house offers a tranquil retreat, inviting residents to linger and savor moments of quiet contemplation amidst the rustling leaves of the forest canopy.
Honoring the Mountain's Character
Coping the wilderness of the mountains, the plot unfolds with embellishments of various vegetation, such as ferns, grasses, and stones, and gives the landscape an air of authenticating forces and living essence. The insulation of finishes on the south and north sides of the buildings is made of wood, combined with the roof surface of the exterior wall made of graphite-colored sheet metal, giving it a modern touch, combining the traditional aesthetic.
Above all, the House in the Beskids captures the essence of every human being's dream of living in a way that resonates perfectly with nature. Combining cutting-edge architecture with nature, which breaks forth here, we can provide an asylum where dwellers can better find the real essence of the mountains and be pampered by the forest's embrace.
