The client's vision called for a dwelling that not only embraced the scale and volume of its grandiose surroundings but also respected the steep slope of the land and the presence of a sprawling forest. Thus, the architects devised a bold strategy: an elevated basic prism, floating gracefully amidst the rugged terrain, serving as the nucleus of the design. Upon entry, visitors are greeted by a striking interplay between the architectural form and the undulating landscape. A sculptural staircase leads to the heart of the home, where social and living spaces converge in a grand double-height volume.
