Yayoi Kusama’s Towering 19-Foot-Tall Pumpkin Sculpture Debuts at London’s Serpentine Galleries

London's Serpentine Galleries have again captured the public's imagination by unveiling a monumental new sculpture by renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The bronze work, titled "Pumpkin," stands proudly at 19.5 feet tall and has a diameter of 18 feet. Bright yellow with black dots mystifies Kusama's artwork, representing her unique and popular style worldwide.

A New Landmark in Kensington Gardens

The sculpture was unveiled on Tuesday and is thoughtfully positioned next to the Round Pond in the lovely Kensington Gardens. This latest pumpkin work is new to Kusama and makes her the tallest pumpkin sculpture ever produced, thus building her reputation in large installations.
