Bristol-based 'elusive' street artist Banksy made a second new artwork in London within just two days.

BBC reported that the latest piece, spotted in Chelsea, depicts two elephants peering out of blocked windows on the side of a house on Edith Terrace.

This fresh addition follows a previous artwork by the artist that appeared near Kew Bridge in Richmond, where a goat stencil was revealed.

Banksky's Goat Stencil Artwork

The earlier piece showcases a goat silhouette perched on a ledge with rocks tumbling down below. A real security camera aimed at the goat was also part of the scene.

According to Ocula, the meaning behind Banksy's goat stencil has not been explained. However, commenters on Banksy's Instagram believe the goat symbolizes the human race's situation or the general peril of nature, with the security camera representing a detached observation of this crisis.

User @chrisbarcroft noted, "Goats are adapted to climbing on narrow ledges, so it isn't in danger, but the camera's view doesn't give the full picture. So I'd guess that it's referencing the need to understand that news needs context before forming an opinion.''

Others suggested the goat might be a metaphor for the marginalized or oppressed. "The goat represents the rebellious spirit of those feeling marginalised or oppressed, fighting against perceived injustices and systemic issues," said user @colmpeterdownes.

There were also interpretations linking the artwork to recent social and political issues. Some users thought it might reference the plight of Palestinians or the anti-immigrant riots in the UK. ''It also symbolises the scapegoating of certain groups during times of social unrest," @colmpeterdownes added.

Banksy's New Elephants Artwork in Chelsea, London

Banksy shared the new photo of this piece on his Instagram account, where he typically claims his works. The new artwork in Chelsea features the elephants extending their trunks toward each other from the building's false windows.

Similar to the goat stencil, it was posted without any accompanying caption, leaving fans and art enthusiasts to speculate on the meaning and message behind the artwork. But comments on the post had one common interpretation, calling it the "elephant in the room."

The Daily Mail shared that the surprise appearances of these new artworks by Banksy have generated a lot of excitement and curiosity throughout London.

Since Banksy is known for being a mysterious who doesn't explain his art, people are even more intrigued and are eagerly waiting for any hints or clues about what the artist might be trying to say with his latest works.
