The editors of Inc. magazine release their 500 | 5000 list each year of America's fastest growing private companies. In 2014, women continue to solidify themselves in the business sector and are more present and powerful.

Melissa Kieling, CEO and founder of PackIt, has made Inc's list for the first time, coming in at No.1 fastest growing woman-led business for 2014, and ranked #28 overall.

The consumer products and services company, founded in 2010 in Westlake, Calif., has developed a patented technology for coolers that keeps food and drinks cooled up to 10 hours. The product's special formula can actually drop a liquid's temperature by 25 degrees, keeping items fresh and for longer than regular freezable coolers.

PackIt insulated bags are safe for you and the environment, entirely made of nontoxic food-safe materials, all while operating as an efficient carry item for all lifestyles. Whether for school, work, sporting events, vacations, etc., the bags are satisfying for anyone with an on-the-go schedule.

With 10 employees, a 3-year young growth rate of 7,878 percent and $11.9 million revenue for 2013, PackIt has surprised the conventional novelty marketplace with a solution that fits the needs of consumers.

Kieling told HFN, "I started PackIt out of my own frustration with conventional lunch coolers, which don't actually cool anything. I believe that families should expect more fro their coolers, so I patented the first simple, all-in-one cooling solution that keeps food and drinks cold all day. We look forward to introducing stylish new products into our line that make life simpler and more delightful."

PackIt has been seen used by celebrities Ashley Olsen and Cameron Diaz and although being ranked the No.1 of women-led businesses, check out the top 10 list of powerful ladies leading companies of their own.
