iPhone 6 vs. Samsung Galaxy S5, Alpha, HTC One M8 Video Comparison Released
The iPhone 6's expected unveiling is one week away - so why not take a sneak peek comparison of the upcoming smartphone with some of its competition?
Youtube user MacMixing has uploaded a side-by-side look at a 4.7-inch sixth-generation vs. the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5, suggesting the new iPhone will have a similar, but slightly shorter body than the One M8 and will be about as thin as the GS5, Android Origin reports. In another video, Youtube user GadgetJM shows the iPhone 6 with the new Galaxy Alpha, showing a dummy that is a bit larger than its Samsung competitor, but with comparable width.

The Alpha, which was unveiled in late August, packs a 4.7-inch, 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, either a 1.8GHz octa-core or 2.5GHz quad-core processor depending on your region, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE and a 12-megapixel camera on its front.
Specs rumors for the sixth-generation iPhone include an Apple A8, Near Field Communication (NFC) for mobile payments, Touch ID and an improved camera. The same color options offered in the iPhone 5S (Silver, Gold and Space Gray) have also been tipped in recent alleged leaks.
The new HTC One (M8) packs a 5-inch, full HD 1080p screen, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, Sense 6.0, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 2800 mAh battery, microSD support and three cameras, including two on the back that can "sense depth and capture photographs that can be selectively focused after they have been snapped," according to Digital Spy.
The Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch screen, 16-megapixel camera, a fingerprint scanner and is waterproof and dust-proof. Additional specs for the device include a 2.5-GHz processor, a heart rate sensor, 16GB and 32GB storage options, with an option to expand to 64GB via a microSD card, mobile wallets support and Android KitKat.
