Huawei Honor V9 Launch Date Set For Feb. 21; P10 Is Selfie Friendly
Huawei has dropped an exciting news to its loyal consumers. The Chinese tech company confirmed the launch date of its new product Honor V9.
Huawei Honor V9 launch date is set for Feb. 21 in China. This has been confirmed on Weibo as the company released the teaser for Honor V9 on that Chinese social media platform.
The teaser reveals that Huawei Honor V9 has dual rear cameras. However, the teaser did not give any details about the availability of this smartphone. NDTV concluded that V9 will be available in the market after launching it in China.
On a TENAA listing, it shows the specs of Huawei Honor V9. According to the listing, V9 sports 5.7-inch QHD 2.5D curved glass and will be powered by octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It also comes with 128GB storage while supporting an additional 128GB storage via microSD card.
Meanwhile, Huawei P10 forthcoming launch has been confirmed set for Feb. 26. It will be introduced at MWC 2017 expo.
In a teaser video posted online on Monday, Feb. 13, the Chinese firm said the "P10 is coming" with the description text "Barcelona. 26.02.17. Stay tuned..." There is also a short, 20-second clip features a short statement, "change how the world sees you."
Huawei P10 is the successor of Huawei P9, which has been launched in 2016. P9 was introduced to have a dual-lens camera on the rear of the device. Its tagline is "change how you see the world."
Huawei P10 will be introduced at Huawei's MWC event, alongside its brother phone P10 Plus. Huawei P10 price has been rumored to be one of the affordable smartphones this year. According to the previous leaks, it may cost £410 in the United Kingdom or $435.
Rumor suggested that P10 sports 5.5-inches and the resolution may change from FHD to QHD with a pixel density of 534ppi. When it comes to CPU, it is likely to run Huawei's own 2.3GHz Kirin 960 system-on-a-chip with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
