Brad Pitt refuses to provide the 100,000 USD monthly child support to Angelina Jolie as he finds it hard to trust her with the funds. The couple has not come to an agreement in terms of their financial support to their children.
After their controversial breakup, it seems that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still getting on each other's nerves. Jolie is requesting for a 100,000 USD monthly child support. According to Yibada, Jolie pointed out that the funds will cover the children's expenses. In addition to that, each of the kids' trust fund will come from a part of the funds.
The Express Tribune also reported that Angelina Jolie plans to save 250,000 USD annually (taken from the monthly child support) for the kids' trust fund. However, another source states that Pitt refuses his estranged spouse's financial requests. The source added that Pitt is all for taking care of the children but he feels uncomfortable trusting Jolie with the monthly child support.
Brad Pitt said that he would rather place all of his money into the children's trust fund than to give the 100,000 monthly child support to Angelina Jolie. Late last year, Jolie started seeking for sole custody of their children. Meanwhile, Pitt filed a motion to keep their records of the case private. The reason could possibly be connected to the alleged child abuse incident that happened on a flight from Europe.
According to the source from Angelina Jolie's camp, the children have been traumatized by that incident and her main concern for custody and monthly child support was for the protection of her children. The divorce and split of this famous celebrity couple have been one for the books. Its controversial marital issues caught the attention of the public but the couple is trying to keep their issues away from the prying hands of the media.
The request of Angelina Jolie for a 100,000 USD monthly child support just sparked yet another tension of the bond between her and Brad Pitt. Not much is known about their split as they have filed the case under a private judge. Whatever the outcome would be, the two are still focusing on what's best for their children.
