The Design Awards 2017 held by Drinks International has crowned an Australian winery as the champion for this year's Wine Design Challenge. The Drinks International competition for the wine category calls for the best in wine design from vineyards across the globe.
Wine designs that have passed the criteria such as originality, creativity, innovation, relevance and initial impact, will be crowned the champion of their design awards 2017. According to The Canberra Times, a vineyard called Four Winds has accomplished and passed all those criteria.
Located in Murrumbateman, a village in New South Wales, Australia, Four Winds Vineyard has come up with a packaging that is worthy of winning one of the few wine design awards 2017. Four Winds owner Sarah Collingwood explained that she discussed the design with her family, about whether or not it was fitting for their wine.
However, the positive feedback Collingwood received about the wine's current design led her to believe that keeping its design was "the right decision." Indeed, it was a right decision since their vineyard won the design awards 2017, and against worldwide competition too.
Four Winds Vineyard was just one one of the 50 vineyards from around the world, that entered the competition this year. The packaging of their wine had what's described as an "eye-catching" design.
Collingwood spoke about their design awards 2017 winning entry, explaining that the wine's packaging "captures the vibe" of their business. Not only that, the Four Winds owner shared that, this wine design also "looks good" as a centerpiece on a dinner table.
Drinks International's design awards 2017 is their third ever Wine Design Challenge. Meanwhile, the recent awards contest isn't the only event that are worth looking into, for wine connoisseurs.
Other than the recent design awards 2017, there's another upcoming event this week that could titillate even the most stern wine critique. According to MDJonline, Carrabba's Italian Grill will host the world's largest wine dinner this week.
While guests might not get wines that have recently won any design awards, they still get to enjoy a four-course wine pairing dinner. Starting on Tuesday, guests can order a more varied range of wines from Carrabba's menu. From Wine Design awards 2017, to the world's biggest wine dinner, there's loads of events for wine connoisseurs to enjoy.
