Nokia 6 Release Will Reach US Market As Well As Other Android Phone Models

The Nokia 6 release will hit US market soon, along with the rest of the new Android models including the new 3310, as confirmed by HMD. The revival of Nokia's new mobile phone line-up was met with some positive reception.

Although most of these phones, including the Nokia 6, were initially confirmed for the U.K., China and India market, not necessarily the U.S. According to GSM Arena, it's now confirmed that Nokia smartphones will make their way to American store shelves soon.

Some potential buyers were concerned that these phones, including the highly-anticipated Nokia 6, won't reach US retail stores. Nokia addressed these concerns via their official Twitter account, stating that these models will have a "global release," which includes the U.S.

Fans are eager to get their hands on the new Nokia 3310 version, which is highly-regarded for its durability. The Nokia 6 is also touted for having a rock-solid aluminum build.

After all, Nokia is known for producing phones that have nearly-indestructible designs. This is something that they consistently incorporate even in their more recent models, such as the Nokia 6 Android phone.

Nokia showcased their new phone line-up during the Mobile World Congress, but didn't initially reveal any interests in releasing these phones internationally. According to Ars Technica, the Nokia 6 was originally announced as a smartphone that will be targetting a release exclusively in China.

The HMD-acquired branding was also gearing up to release its Android line-up only in certain parts of the world. Fortunately, Nokia's recent statement clarifies the worldwide release of anticipated models such as the Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and the 3310.

This certainly gives loyal Nokia fans in the US and the rest of the world, a sigh of relief. HMD is targeting the global Nokia 6 release date by the second quarter of 2017, other phone models are also expected to follow.
