Porsche Launches 21-Story Luxury Residential Tower in Bangkok with Automated Terrace Door System

Porsche is venturing into luxury residential tower, this time, in Bangkok. According to Yanko Design, it's a 21-story project in collaboration with Ananda Development with the aim of bringing an ultra-luxury living experience to the heart of Thailand's bustling capital.

The tower will house 22 ultra-luxurious duplex and quadplex apartments, marrying sleek design with advanced engineering from Porsche.

The 95-meter-tall Porsche Design Tower in Bangkok is set to begin early in 2025, with completion scheduled for the end of 2028. It will feature a modern glass and steel façade complete with a spiral ramp reminiscent of the winding roads so often negotiated by Porsche's high-performance sports cars.

This ramp will be connected to common garages or "passion spaces" where people are allowed to show their car collections.

Porsche Design Tower Features

One of the outstanding features of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is its fully automated terrace door system.

As shared by Dezeen, it's inspired by the mechanism responsible for the retractable roof of the Porsche 911 Targa and will allow residents to extend seamlessly their indoor-outdoor living. The top-hinged folding doors open up to create a very extended terrace that becomes an extension of the living area in every apartment.

"Our goal is to create a living space that reflects Porsche's commitment to innovation and excellence," says the Porsche Design spokesperson told Dezeen.

In addition to design features, Porsche Design revealed that luxurious amenities will also be provided in the tower: a 25-meter swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, and social and business lounges that will cater to all life needs for occupants and give the opportunity to Porsche's critical customers to live in comfort.

Following previous residential projects in Miami and Stuttgart, Porsche aims to provide customers not just with a product, but with an entire lifestyle experience.
