Artlink Launches 50s-Themed Party to Kick off Art Auction This Weekend; Online Bidding Available

Art auctions are upgrading these days, with Artlink's fourth annual event that will come with a theme, live music and a party.

The fourth annual art auction will be kickstarted by Artlink BASH, and will be a 50s-themed cocktail party. This event will also allow guests to get a first pick of its auction items.

According to WANE, this will benefit not just Artlink's exhibits, but also local artists and educational programs they've been supporting. Guests are welcome to make bids for arts that will be on display, and some will even include pieces from the artist's personal workshops.

Besides cocktails and desserts, guests can also win several prize packages prepared by Arlink.

Artlink Art Auction

Artlink's auction, kicked off by the BASH cocktail party, supports local artists who wish to let viewers bid on their work. They can also choose how much percentage of their winning bid will be donated to Artlink, which will benefit several communities.

To those who wish to attend, tickets can be purchased from Artlink's website. The Artlink BASH auction event will start from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST on Thursday, which will be held at 300 E Main St.

However, the gallery and auction itself will be open from October 11 to 13, with art auctions available in person and online, only until 8 p.m. EST as well.
