OpenTable, the San Francisco-based company that has made the dinner reservation process accessible and easy, is once again elevating our dining experiences.
According to CNBC, a new application is soon to be connecting New Yorkers with the conveniency of paying for your check through Priceline-owned OpenTable, without ever having to ask for the bill.
The application redefines the infamous "dining and dashing" by implementing this new form of technology that is simple and hassle free for customers. The new feature has been tested in San Francisco and is set to expand to nearly 20 cities in the months ahead.
It is as easy as entering in a few digits, and the service connects to your debit or credit card. With a review of the bill and a few touches with your fingertip, the payment is done.
According to Biz Journals, "Diners who settle their check via the OpenTable app can simply get up and go whenever they're ready," said Caroline Potter, OpenTable's chief dining officer.
Last month, OpenTable was acquired by giant Priceline for $2.6 Billion. Download the latest version of the OpenTable application and you'll no longer need to wait for the bill.
