LG G3 users, fear not - you can customize your smartphone's default app icons using just your operating system.
CNET reports that a small, purple paintbrush icon on the device allows users to edit app icons. Just follow these three simple steps:
1.) Place your finger on the icon you wish to edit and hold for a few seconds until an animation appears.
2.) Lift up your finger and tap on the paintbrush to launch the icon edit.
3.) Select one of the alternate icon options or import your own (you can take a picture or use a saved file).
The LG G3 is getting a couple new looks for the end of summer, GSMArena reports.
LG has confirmed its flagship smartphone will add Burgundy Red and Moon Violet color options to its palette this Aug., which will join the already-available black, white and gold versions. The South Korean tech giant said that the rollout of the new additions will take several weeks, with release dates coming "in conjunction with carriers."
At this time, no further details are known about the Burgundy Red and Moon Violet launches.
Those who have purchased the new flagship smartphone may want consider taking a bit more time to get to know their new pocket companion before getting started and thankfully, those who aren't inclined to bust open their manual now have another option.
