Sunbrella’s Refreshing Take on Beach House Design for “Perspective New England”
Sunbrella’s third phase for “Perspective New England” provides a fresh take on design with “The Beach House” in Rhode Island.
The designed house is given a refreshing spin through a kid-friendly and sophisticated coastal-inspired look by interior designer Kate Jackson. The work was documented through a series of online videos, all of which provides a narrative of Jackson’s design process.
Gina Wicker, Sunbrella fabrics’ Design and Creative Director said that the seven episodes give the audience a view of design challenges that families will be able to relate to, whether or not they are living on the coast of New England. Wicker cited that Jackson’s unique sense of style in interior design and in material and color considerations has greatly contributed in addressing the requirements of families living within the coastal areas.
Jackson’s solutions discussed open floor plans with more efficient furniture layouts, larger beachfront backyard settings which provided space for relaxing and dining, designs for play areas and girls’ bedrooms which can be used even beyond their teenage years as well as solutions on how to avoid faded living room and dining room furniture pieces. The videos also showed Jackson’s advice on the types of draperies to use in relation to window designs and furniture arrangements for diverse occasions.
All of these videos also give a peek on which products are available from the Sunbrella brand and how consumers can acccess these resources through close coordination with their interior designers.
Online video contents for “Perspective New England” including the “The Rhode Yacht”, “The Real Yacht”, and “The Beach House” are available in blogs, as well. Clients can also go to Sunbrella’s Twitter and Instagram accounts by following @Sunbrella or searching for #PerspectiveNE.
