In March, Konami's Vice President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Hideo Kojima recently dropped a hint in an interview of a possible reboot to the "Silent Hills" video game series.
According to Shock Till You Drop, Kojima said in an interview that there may be a reboot and that he'd love to develop another game in the series.
"A guy that is such a chicken and is so easily scared [Referring to Himself] - making a scary game - I'm very confident that something horrifying would come out from that," he said. "But on the other hand I would have to prepare myself to have nightmares every single day. Hopefully sometime in the future I'm able to work on this, but I would really need to prepare to have daily nightmares."
With the recent "Tomb Raider" reboot getting praise from Crystal Dynamics Head Of Studios, Darrell Gallagher, it seems like video game reboots may become a successful venture. In a post on the game's official Tumblr, he noted that the reboot will sell more than six million copies by the end of March.
There is no word yet on a release date for the "Silent Hills" reboot but keep checking D&T for the latest news on the game.
