iPhone 6: Bent Billboards Accidentally Bring Issue To Light Again
A few of Apple's new posters for the iPhone 6 epitomize bad advertising.
The Verge reports that a billboard in Berlin and a poster from a store in the Netherlands showing off the new Apple smartphone are, unfortunately for Apple, ironically bent.

Looking for another laugh at Apple's expense?
Late night show host Conan O'Brien took a shot at Apple's bent iPhone 6 issue in a tongue-in-cheek skit Thursday that recommends the "stiff and rigid" Samsung Galaxy line of smartphones for those who are unhappy with their new iPhone's well, performance.
Check it out:
All joking aside, Apple released a statement last Thursday to respond to "Bendgate," noting that these instances are "rare" when used normally.
"iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus meet or exceed all of our high quality standards to endure everyday, real life use," Apple said. "With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus. As with any Apple product, if you have questions please contact Apple."
The Cupertino-based company also noted that the shell of the device is constructed out of "anodized aluminum, which is tempered for extra strength" and also incorporates stainless steel and titanium parts for reinforcement in areas that take the most stress.
"We chose these high-quality materials and construction very carefully for their strength and durability," Apple added.
What do you make of "Bendgate?" Will it, or has it, affected your decision to purchase the new iPhone? Let us know what you're thinking with a comment.
