This luxury RV is not your grandfather's Winnebago.
The ESCAPE, a Park Model RV pulled by a truck, "defines 21st century living."
It might be small, but it's a nice home by any standard and fully customizable.
An attached front screened porch; full-sized stainless steel appliances; cantilevered dining table, high efficiency, sealed combustion fireplace; steam shower; washer/dryer; heated bathroom floor; and surround sound are some of the amenities owners can choose from. The ESCAPE is also made of all-natural materials and be fully furnished.
The base version of the ESCAPE starts at $79,000 but Canoe Bay, the Wisconsin-based company that makes the cabin, suggests a number of uses for the home besides an occasional vacation.
It can be used as a guest house, a first or empty-nest home, a rental property or a resort cottage.
If that still sounds pricey, take a look at the pictures below and reevaluate it.
It's hard to believe the ESCAPE is a fully-movable structure. The overhang is a feature that is especially uncharacteristic of a recreational vehicle. it also has more than a dozen windows.
The beveled cedar siding is standard on all models of the ESCAPE.
Vaulted ceilings and a large window to the right give the cabin a much larger feel. The recessed lighting is standard.
The screened living area to the front of the trailer is the most popular upgrade. it is included in the base version which starts at $99,000. The space can be used as a living room, sleeping porch or even a nice sized outdoor dining area.
The walk-in tile shower is the most popular upgrade in the bathroom. Heated floors and a double vanity in the granite counter top are also available.
The bedroom has a built-in bed and nightstands. Sconces will cost you a little more.
