'Super Mario Run' 1.1.0 Update Adds New Easy Mode, No More Time Limit For New Players
The "Super Mario Run" developers recently rolled out a new update for iOS users with a host of fixes for the app. In addition, "Super Mario Run" newbies may also play with the new Easy Mode with unlimited Bubbles. It is expected that the new update would increase player support since the app reportedly increased in sales.
No More Time Limit For New Players
The Update Version 1.1.0 for the iOS "Super Mario Run reportedly takes away the time limit in the game with the new Easy mode. Furthermore, the developers reportedly did some adjustments to the Toad Rally. It should be noted that the developers previously promised that "Super Mario Run" players would lose less Toads when losing. Furthermore, Toads will reportedly be easier to gather as well.
The "Super Mario Run" update is further noted to be compatible with the Korean language. In addition, compatibility with newer events have also been confirmed by the developers. Several other issues have reportedly been fixed with the update. Note that after receiving the My Nintendo reward toad, the player may no longer receive the same reward again if the save data is deleted. However, the limit for downloading Toads has been removed, EnGadget reported.
Nintendo Makes Millions With Super Mario Run
Since launching in December, the "Super Mario Run" app has reportedly earned roughly $53 million. Note that the Android version to be released in March is expected to boost sales as well. Despite the one-time purchase fee of $9.99, 5 percent of iOS users have been noted paying for the full price.
The "Super Mario Run" developers are further rumored to be working on a sequel to the app. In the meantime, Nintendo is reportedly considering user feedback on the pricing and structure for the new Mario game for iOS. Nintendo is believed to release the sequel in 2018, CIO reported.
