'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Animations Get Patched Along With Some Major Fixes

The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" animations are certainly one of the game's biggest hurdles, but fixing this issue isn't the only thing the developers are planning to do. Game developer BioWare received some internet backlash for releasing a game that others would consider as broken and unpolished.

One of the first oddities that players noticed in the game is the awkward-looking "Mass Effect: Andromeda" animations. In order for "Andromeda" to avoid being the laughing stock of the internet, BioWare took notice of these issues and addressed the necessary concerns.

According to Forbes, BioWare has certainly heard the clamoring of the players as they released key notes of the fixes "Andromeda" will be receiving in the months ahead. The unskippable cutscene that occurs when traveling between planets will be made skippable in the succeeding updates.

While this might serve as a minor fix, it's still very much essential, considering players will be constantly traveling from planet to planet and the unskippable cutscene only equates to an unnecessary waste of time. Of course, another issue being tackled is the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" animations.

One of the fixes would focus on improving localized voice-over lip-syncing animations, as well as improving eyes of both human and Asari races. Another "Mass Effect: Andromeda" animations fix is the notorious running movement, which is comical at best.

The game developers hope to fix this so that people will no longer make fun of the main character's animation, as well as giving players more control over the character's movements. According to Business Insider, it's not just the animations that seem daunting, the amount of things to do and keep track of can get "stressful" and "overwhelming."

Regardless, BioWare did mention more fixes other than the flawed "Mass Effect: Andromeda" animations. Which includes fixes such as inventory size increase, more character creation options, hair & appearance improvements and even improved same-sex romance options. These fixes should at least make up for the game's shortcomings, for the time being that is.
