LG has finally revealed the complete specs and features of its new G6 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The new model offers a different modular design from its predecessors with an impressive display, ultra wide-screen aspect ratio and premium viewing experience.
Starting with its design, the new LG G6 comes with a 5.7-inch display and equipped with an aluminum body. Its metal frame comes with a soft matte finish in the perimeter of the phone and a perfectly flat back. At the front, the phone has narrow bezels which make it very comfortable to hold, according to Mirror.
For display, the new phone comes with a Quad HD+ and a 2,880 x 1,440 resolution, E Week reported. It is also the very first smartphone to come with a screen aspect ratio of 18:9, so it has more viewing space and gives better experience when watching videos or playing games.LG G6 also features HDR 10 and Dolby vision, which makes the phone’s visual better whether viewing it in the darkest or brightest setting.
For LG G6's camera, it features a 13MP rear camera with a 125-degree wide-angle lens, zooming capabilities, and option to shoot in various aspect ratio from 1:1 or square to 18:9. Its front camera features a 5MP and a 100-degree angle so photos can cover more angle as if using a selfie stick.
Undre the hood, LG G6 uis equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, a 4GB memory and an option to have a 32GB or a 64GB internal memory. For those who needed extra memory, LG G6's storage can be expanded up to 2TB via mciroSD card. Just like most of the latest smartphones, it has a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery and comes with an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
Meanwhile, probably LG G6's most useful feature that doesn’t come often to most smartphone is its water and dust resistant. The device can withstand water of up to 1.5 meters deep for half an hour. It also comes with an artificial intelligent virtual assistant by Google that can help in managing daily work, control videos and music and follow voice commands.
