As the release of Galaxy S8 draws near, more rumors about its new features are circulating online and it includes its AI, Bixby, supporting up to 8 different languages. Aside from that, S8 could also come with a completely new look, better battery, and faster processor.
According to Android Headlines, Samsung Galaxy S8 could be equipped with an AI that supports eight different languages including English, Portuguese, Brazilian, Hindi, German, Korean and Chinese. In previous reports, Bixby is said to be a more sophisticated AI that’s able to use the phone’s camera and search the surrounding environment, identify specific objects and even look for retailers online where it can be availed. Another feature it comes with is the Samsung Pay integration so users can easily make payments through it.
Another leaked feature circulating online is its new design including a bezel-free structure and larger than the normal display with its own official cases. Just like other new smartphones released recently, its trademark physical button is no longer there but will still have the fingerprint sensor. As for Galaxy S8's performance, it is equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which consumes less power than Snapdragon 820.
According to Forbes, Samsung Galaxy S8 also comes with a 6GB RAM but will only release in China. The rest of the world will only get a 4GB RAM just like the S7 but many are crossing their fingers and hoping Samsung will change their mind and release the 6GB RAM in the US too.
Next is the better battery life, which will be an upgrade from 3000 mAh to 3250 mAh for the Galaxy S8 and 3750 mAh for Galaxy S8 Plus. The only issues that tech experts are concerned about are their smaller bodies, as it will most likely consume additional power.
