Ventura Lambrate All Geared up for 2014 Salone del Mobile
Ventura Lambrate’s curation of works is highly anticipated by the Salone’s visitors which is comprised of internationally-recognized designers, world-renowned design schools and institutions, emerging design talents and trade professionals.
Since Ventura Lambrate’s inception in 2010, it has become a venue for cutting-edge designs, unique pop-up restaurant concepts and even never-before-seen niche projects. According to the group, their 5-year participation in the Salone del Mobile has also provided “international and debuting established designers, academies, institutions and companies” with the opportunity to showcase their projects to the largest design and trade show audience in the world.
From April 8 to April 13, guests of the Salone del Mobile will get to see more innovative curation from Ventura Lambrate.
This year is also the start of a new initiative- the Ventura X which will be hosted in Milan’s city center. Ventura X will hold a Maarten Baas exhibition which will be co-produced by 5VIE district.
Ventura Lambrate will be covering a total of 13000 sqm of exhibition space scattered over 19 different venues. Visitors will be able to locate some of the popular venues and treated to new and surprising areas in the city.
The center of Ventura Lambrate’s exhibit will be the Ventura Living Room located at a former snow shovel factory at Via Ventura 14. The industrial location will also be the hub for visitors’ information and the Ventura Hive exhibition. Another location for the group’s show will be Via Dei Canzi 19 which is a former printing workshop.
The Salone del Mobile occurs every April. This year, the largest trade show will take place from April 8 to April 13 and will continue to be a part of the Milan Design Week with an overarching theme “FuoriSalone.”
