'Keeping Up With The Kattarshians' Combines Internet's Greatest Fascination With Reality TV

"Keeping Up With The Kattarshians" becomes the latest craze as it mixes reality TV together with the internet culture. "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" might have dominated the reality TV ratings, but another show is aiming to take its top spot.

A new livestream show features stars that are a lot furrier than what the Kardashians wear. The Icelandic series called "Keeping Up With The Kattarshians" features four kitties playing inside an over-sized dollhouse.

This livestream show will broadcast a live feed of the kitties as they go about their daily misadventures. According to ApartmentTherapy, these nine-week old kittens will be live-streamed for about three weeks.

Then one of these young felines will eventually leave "Keeping Up With The Kattershians" once they get adopted. While some kittens might unfortunately leave the show at some point, at least they will be in the good hands of their new owners.

Until that point, the little kittens will be enjoying each others company as they play around a two-story dollhouse paradise. Although break times do occur to make sure viewers don't over indulge and end up consuming most of their day.

During these break times, kitty litter cleaning and food serving is being administered by the showrunners. According to CNN, it took about a year to put "Keeping Up With The Kattarshians" together.

Series creator Ingna Karlsdottir had to wait for the approval of all the animal wellfare authorities. After a year of planning, the series was eventually given the green light thus "Keeping Up With The Kattarshians" was born.

Since then, the website that hosted the series has benefited from getting the highest web traffic the Icelandic website has ever gotten. The creator is loving how the kittens on the show are doing so far.

The "Keeping Up With The Kattarshians" mastermind shared that it's good fun watching the kitties "go crazy" and "ruin the house." However, it's not just the activity that's worth watching, the series creator shared that viewers will also find joy in watching the kitten's inactivity. "It's also calming watching them sleep, it's good for the soul.", Karlsdottir added.
