'War For The Planet Of The Apes' 2017 Trailer Unveiled; How Actors Are Coping With Playing As Monkeys

"War For The Planet Of The Apes" 2017 gets an epic new trailer, as actors share the challenges of playing as mankind's primate cousins. When "Rise of the Planet Of The Apes" released back in 2011, it brought the franchise back to life by bringing a modern-age touch into the series.

"The Exorcist" director Rupert Wyatt was responsible for "Rise", but failed to secure the sequel. Fortunately, "Cloverfield" director Matt Reeves continued revitalizing the franchise with the succeeding "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" movie, and he did an excellent job in doing so too.

The latest "War For The Planet Of The Apes" 2017 flick comes three years after the last entry in the series. Based on how epic the recent trailer looks so far, it is safe to say that Reeves will continue to give audiences some stunning visuals, all while picking the story up from where it left off.

According to Independent, the film's plot this time around, will basically revolve around the same premise of the 1968 "Planet Of The Apes" film. However, fans still get to see recurring ape hero Caesar, as he faces a more "darker" side of him when he sets off on the path of vengeance.

Contrary to the typical portrayal of the monkey's people have come to know, these apes mean business and not the monkey type. The "War For The Planet Of The Apes" 2017 release date is scheduled for a July 14, 2017 theatrical release.

Before fans get to see the finished product however, the people behind these ape characters are in for a rough time. According to CBC News, the "War For The Planet Of The Apes" 2017 film producers invited a small group of media outlets into their studio.

During these behind-the-scenes moments, actor Terry Notary explained that he would have to "drop into a deeper sense" of himself in order for him to get into his ape character Rocket. Another "War For The Planet Of The Apes" cast Karin Konoval mentioned that playing as another species is the same as playing any other role, except for that fact that it's "a heck of a lot harder."

Konoval played as the orangutan Maurice ever since the revival of the franchise "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes." This time she will have to go through the same struggles in order to bring the orangutan back to life on the big screen once again.
