Preparations are already in progress at 665 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan which is yet to be the site of Rolex USA headquarters. This commercial tower measures 469 feet high and proposed for the construction on the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 53rd Street.
Architectural Design and Development
Out of the drawing board of David Chipperfield Architects and developed by the Rolex Realty Company, the new 28-storey edifice promises to make a profound and lasting impact on the socially constructed Manhattan skyline. Sustainability and LEED Certification
The building's architectural features include staggered setbacks and a series of floor plates that will facilitate a swift construction pace. According to YIMBY, a prominent architecture and development news platform, completion is projected by the end of 2025, with the tower expected to reach its maximum height in the first half of the year.
Upon completion, the tower's interior layout will prioritize functionality and elegance. Offices would be provided from the 5th to the 25th floor while, the 26th and 27th floor would consist of a double volume dining/ event space and a linked terrace thus providing good views of the skyline.
