A new image of the Batmobile has released - but this time from the film's set.
Although we've already seen a great shot of the vehicle with Batman via director Zack Snyder, this image comes from the stealth website Comic Book News For You (via Comic Book Movie), which uploaded the photo online.
Check it out:
The vehicle's driver, Ben Affleck, recently sat down with The New York Times to discuss his role in the upcoming David Fincher thriller, "Gone Girl," but also dished on his highly-anticipated role as Batman in 2016's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
While critics ripped Warner Bros.' decision to give the role to Affleck, the Oscar winner says he's having a great time with the film.
From the Times:
"In the meantime, Mr. Affleck is finishing production of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in Detroit. 'I'm having a blast,' he said. Written by Chris Terrio, who wrote 'Argo,' the film, Mr. Affleck said, 'is really unique to the genre and really smart.'"
In an earlier interview with Playboy, Affleck said the studio advised him to expect unhappiness from die-hard fans, all while assuring him that he fit their mold for the new direction the character would take in "Batman vs. Superman," which he called "incredible."
"I understand I'm at a disadvantage with the Internet. If I thought the result would be another 'Daredevil,' I'd be out there picketing myself. [laughs] Why would I make the movie if I didn't think it was going to be good and that I could be good in it?"
He continued:
"It was a unique take on Batman that was still consistent with the mythology. It made me excited. All of a sudden I had a reading of the character. When people see it, it will make more sense than it does now or even than it did to me initially," the 42-year-old told Playboy, adding that his take on the character won't be too similar to Bale's Batman.
"I don't want to give away too much, but the idea for the new Batman is to redefine him in a way that doesn't compete with the Bale and Chris Nolan Batman but still exists within the Batman canon. It will be an older and wiser version, particularly as he relates to Henry Cavill's Superman character."
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters March 2016 with stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Supporting actors that have joined the cast include Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto, Scoot McNairy and Callan Mulvey.
