Greece is an incredibly beautiful country — maybe the most beautiful when it comes to ocean views — and these hotels are really capitalizing on that.
Many of them have incredible scenery from one of the country's 227 inhabited islands. In fact, 58 percent of the country's hotel units are found on its islands, according to the Greek National Tourism Organization.
An estimated 18 million tourists are expected to visit Greece in 2014 — nearly double the population of the country, according to the Greek Reporter.
With hotels and resorts like these listed on TripAdvisor, that number will probably go up.

This is an ultra high-end boutique hotel that offers bespoke VIP services including private yacht rentals along with concierge and room services. It also every facility and service you can think of, such as a small market, fitness centre, laundry, car service and hair salon, amongst other things.
The Excelsior Thessaloniki
Another five-star luxury hotel with great views from the rooftop garden. It is also located in the middle of downtown at Thessaloniki center, for those who want the escape without being away from the city.
Oia Castle Luxury Suites in Oia
The views from these suites don't even seem real — they are that amazing. The hotel also has an exceptionally cool website. The music in the beginning is a little much but all of the photos in the galleries are worth checking out.

Like the others, the Island Blue Hotel has every service and amenity one could ask for. The two pools offer views of the ocean.

Another five-star hotel that is on the beach. The whitewashed cube-like buildings in Mykonos are exemplary of the fishing village-style most visualize when they think of Greece.

This waterfront luxury hotel has the amenities of the others plus themed barbecues guests can attend. The prices are also very reasonable for the accommodations, location and views.
The Katikies hotel Santorini in Oia
Another Oia hotel with breathtaking views from traditionally-styled dwellings. This one has won more awards than wee could keep track of.
Sani Asterias Suites in Sani
