The organizer of the China International Furniture Expo have announced their plans for the 21st installment of Furniture China. The 2015 furniture show will be held from September 9-12. It will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) and at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre (SWEECC), both of which are located in Pudong, Shanghai.
The announcement came after the success of the 2014 China International Furniture Expo which concluded last September 14th. This year, a total of 2,658 exhibitors, including 307 international companies, displayed their latest products in design and technology. Positive remarks were given concerning the improvement of the venues’ facilities including the flow of visitors and the quality of buyers. As of writing, 97.6% of this year’s exhibitors have confirmed their attendance for Furniture China 2015.
The 2014 furniture exhibit has attracted 98,401 visitors with 21,823 international participants from 158 countries. Visitors noted that the convenient transportation system as well as the clear disemmination of exhibit information provided a positive experience for them. The audience also agreed that it was easier for them this year to find the furniture suppliers and designs because of the clarity of the exhibit flow.
The 2014 edition of Furniture China also highlighted various events including a grand opening ceremony and gala dinner which was attended by almost 1,000 distinguished guests. That night, they also honored 59 exhibitors with the “Ten-Year Loyalty Exhibitor” Awards.
The main pivotal elements of the Expo were Design, Lifestyle and E-commerce. The #3 Entrance Hall of SNIEC was decked in fresh designs from professionals from the “Design of Designers” exhibit. It also became a venue for visitors and designers to interact and communicate with each other. Aside from exhibits, visitors also attended different forums related to home and office furniture and technology.
Meanwhile, at SWEECC, visitors were treated to a well-organized display of the 100 Sofa Show.
For its 21st year, the organizer is already expecting an increase of 3,000 exhibitors in both venues.
