First Online Italian Furniture Design 3D Exhibition
The Italian Furniture Design launched the first virtual exhibition dedicated to furniture and furnishings industry featuring products in textiles, construction materials, finishes, coverings, floorings, doors, windows and other elements that make up residential interior design. The event opened last June 4, Tuesday and ran until June 5, in conjunction with the World Environment Day. The virtual fair can be visited from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
To view the exhibit, attendees will have to register at www.ifurndesign.com. After which, visitors will be able to view stands represented through 3D images, videos, and promotional materials. Visitors can also interacts with avatars and even establish business contacts through different kinds of automated business and social networking media.
According to IFD promoters, the show addresses four important aspects in today’s competitive market- digitalization, internationalization, cost containment and respect for the environment.
“It’s a new, fascinating, simple and intuitive tool for conducting business without having to leave your office, saving time and money while defending the environment. No more traffic queues, flights and hotel costs and entire days out of the office.”
The promoters said that they targeted small and medium-size businesses which are “Made in Italy” as the virtual platform is an ideal medium for them to promote their products and services strategically towards other countries through the UniCredit International service model which supports SMEs who aims to undergo internationalization. The event is sponsored by Monza and Brianza Chamber of Commerce and by Promos.
