Dior's Magnificent Landmark Flagship Graces Geneva's Rue du Rhône
On the heart of Rue du Rhône of Geneva, Dior Maison reveals its new Swiss store, co-designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc titled as the laureat of the Prizker Prize. This brand-new place, which is fully integrated with the up-market environment of the major city, embodies a unique combination of modern design creativity, love for art and the classy magnetism of Dior's heritage.
Sculpting the Skyline
In the vision of the Dior flagship by Christian de Portzamparc Geneva, it is the facade that literally captivates one because of its impactful composition of sculptural details, becoming a highlight in the modern architecture style. The structure draws on the infinitely fine details of Dior's finest taste all the way to the soft, curvilinear lines that reminds the viewer of the well-known decorated flower petals germination. Six interweaving glass and resin structures have been aesthetically merged into twelve towers, forming this modern architectural icon which will change the city landscape into a timeless symbol of beauty and wisdom.
A Tribute to Dior's Legacy
Erring into the shop, you become a part of a refined space, that delights your senses and stimulates creativity. Featuring the interior design done by Christian de Portzamparc, the whole inside space expresses the label's depth rooted in its background history and harmonizes with the acquisition of a modern look from the fashion house at 30 Montaigne, one of the most significant addresses in Paris.
