NY NOW, the biannual market assortment featuring a wide variety of exhibitions in Home, Lifestyle, Handmade and NEW collections, has closed their summer showcase.
This season's edition ended yesterday, Aug. 20 after a comprehensive, diverse and exciting five days for participants and visitors. Not only do exhibitors have the opportunity to present their collections and network with industry professionals, buyers and press about their brands and products, they also face the possibility of winning awards for their categories. With winning lies the hope for further brand awareness, press, and of course, customers.
Define Bottle and Pop Up House Fort by Nhocchi were honored the "Best of Home" and "Best of Lifestyle" awards, respectively. Virginia-based business Define | Bottle created an environmentally safe water bottle that has been designed for users to have nutritious, fruit-infused water on the go.
The item was selected by an expert panel and will receive recognition at the winner of the Kitchen Preparation category along with accepting the Best New Product Award in NY Now's Tabletop and Gourmet Housewares division.
Nhocchi, a New York-based company, holds the winning position in the Toy category and receives NY Now's Baby + Child Best New Product award. The product that impressed a panel of judges and attendees who participated in the online balloting is a Pop up House Fort. The item is easy to assemble, portable, ideal for packing and even has the option to hang for storage purposes. It provides children with a safe and enjoyable structure to play in.
Other awards were given to designers in categories from Accent on Design, Bloggers Choice Awards, and the "Best of the Best" for Interior Designers from the Market for Home and Lifestyle category. For further details on winners of these categories and their products, visit Nynow.com.
Congratulations to the winners of this year's awards and we're excited to attend the winter 2015 showing of NYNOW. Next season's edition is planned for Jan. 31-Feb. 4, 2015, so register to attend today.
