UK Architects Bring Their Visions To Burning Man Festival
The British are participating in this years Burning Man, the desert festival with a wealth of art installations and a unique setting full of creative individuals. With the celebration beginning only two days ago, the event and activities last until the 1st of September.
The community joining in Black Rock City continues to grow with people from around the globe, while festival-goers partake in art, stage acts, collaboration, and exercise, while enjoying the simplicity of a civil society; this cultivation has especially intrigued the design empire of the UK.
According to Architects Journal, this years UK architect team is from Red Deer located in London, "Red Deer is for a fusion of Architecture, the Arts, and Wonder."
Their imaginative assemblies include light projections, instrumental sounds, while being made of acrylic or plywood, and inspired by Islamic geometry, human interaction, and nature.
Designer, Josh Haywood has created a Temple of intricate islamic geometric stencils within a plywood construction, resulting in his Hayam Sun Temple.
