Dwell Home Tour Featuring The Best Of Uptown And Downtown Living In Manhattan

This year marks Dwell's third year of Home Tours in Manhattan providing their readers with the opportunity to experience some of the city's most coveted living spaces. This Saturday's Home Tour has been created by the editorial team of Dwell media and will feature homes with a strong focus on sustainability and a modern approach to design.

Dwell magazine has hosted Dwell on Design since 2006 in Los Angeles, entailing a three-day design workshop of industry professional-led discussions and allowing visitors to view new design installations and generate idea-filled conversations. All this while networking with others in the market.

Dwell on Design is making its debut in New York this weekend Oct. 9 to Oct. 11. Along with visiting five impeccable Manhattan properties, the trade show offers attendees the opportunity to meet with the architects responsible for the development of these desirable residences.

Architecture firms participating in Dwell's Home Tour this year include Andrew Franz, Nicholas Moons, AIA, the design studio 590BC, Charles Rose and Yen Ha of Front Studio Architects — an award-winning group of designers with creative masterminds. On Friday, Oct. 10, ticket holders will be able to "Meet the Architects" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 82Mercer.

The tour will include Tribeca Manufacturing Building by Andrew Franz, Flatiron Penthouse by Charles Rose, a Historic SoHo Loft by 590BC, a Tribeca Family Penthouse by Front Studio, and a Harlem Town House Renovation by Nicholas Moons.

Saturday's self-guided tour will begin at 10 a.m. and homes will be open for viewings until 4 p.m. Ticket proceeds from the Home Tour and the "Meet the Architects" event will go to Dwell's non-profit partner, Architecture for Humanity.
