"GTA 5" is still rolling out well in the market today, hence the overwhelming number of copies it recently shipped out. With its success, many can't help to wonder if Take-Two Entertainment and Rockstar Games will also release this game on Nintendo Switch. Find out here how "NBA 2K18" will affect its possible unveiling.
Nintendo Switch's March 3 reveal is already most-awaited day at the moment. The company's confirmation of its frontline games made things more exciting! Although, many others are still clamoring for some more in the lineup and one of it is "GAT 5."
"We're supporting Switch with NBA 2K18. We've said we're supporting the platform," Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said as quoted by GameSpot. "I've said over and over again that when Nintendo comes to market you never want to count them out," he continues.
"NBA 2K18" performance will seemingly be the determining factor on "GTA 5" future presence on Nintendo Switch. CEO Zelnick knows that the console will be a blast but they can't simply take out the fact that could still fail. Thus the trial part, it will heavily influence all the possible release of many other games on it.
On the other hand, "GTA 5" continues to make waves on the market today. After its takeover on almost all possible consoles on today, it's already considered as one of the most played games ever.
In a report by Game Zone, it says that nearly 75 million "GTA 5" copies have sold by now. It's a feat nothing on Two-Take lineup has broken until now. On their December earning chart, "Mafia" got 5M, "Civilization" got 1.5M, and "NBA 2K17" 7M.
In all, Two-Take Entertainment really slayed the gaming industry with all the overwhelming number of units it sold on each of its games. "GTA 5" possible success on Nintendo Switch is yet to be seen. The fans will just need to wait for "NBA 2K18" performance to see it.
