Ikea's Klippan Loveseat: The Best Product Of All Time, Says Head Design; Practical Interior Design Tips For Small Living Spaces

Ikea furniture has been a staple in homes over the years and around the globe. However, the best Ikea product that stands out from the rest is the Klippan loveseat. This is according to the company's Head of Design.

Ikea's Head of Design since 1983, Marcus Engman, believes that the best product of the company is the Klippan loveseat, given the fact that his father designed the sofa in the late 1970s for Ikea. As reports reveal, this also explains his connection with the product. Engman further noted about his fond memories with the product, and that he is pleased to know that the sofa has survived for so long.

The Swedish design chief of Ikea also appreciates the simplicity and ability of Klippan for customization, which features a standard two-seater that fits through most entryways. Moreover, the sofa is reported to be equipped with different fabric covers to modify its aesthetic if desired, such as the change of color that the owner wishes to live with, for a long time.

Ikea's Klippan loveseat is available from $249 to $299. According to Engman, the Ikea couch is affordable enough to get the interest of new apartment owners, Fortune reported.

Meanwhile, Ikea has provided some practical advertising that offers tips on how to make the most of those small living spaces using a few clever and compact approaches to interior decoration. Among these is the use of kitchen cabinets as a platform for the mattress instead of a bed, by getting more storage space from the tiny room.

Based on the Ikea advertising tips, pegboards can be used to hang clothes, including the layer-rolling of racks in front to keep more clothes. It should be noted that a rolling blind is a projector screen, and the drawers in the kitchen cabinet can be a bedside table when pulled out, Ad Week reported.
