'The Originals' is all set for its season 4 premiere. The "The Vampire Diaries" spin-off is slated to air on March 17 and has recently released its teaser poster that says, "Evil walks with us... always and forever."
Finally, after waiting for almost a year, fans will soon be able to watch again "The Originals." There are many speculations on the central theme of the upcoming season and the latest poster does not give much information either, Yahoo TV reported.
The poster shows a small girl standing in what seems to be the middle of a forest, and is encircled by dead crows. There is also a huge tree near her with serpent-like roots.
It has been confirmed earlier that "The Originals" season 4 will have a time jump of about five years from the third season story. Fans can expect that the little girl on the poster is Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) Mikaelson's daughter named Hope (now played by Summer Fontana) and could be the ultimate Mikaelson. Michael Narducci, the show's executive producer also previously said in an interview with TVLine, "She (Hope) definitely shares her mother's street smarts, but may or may not also display some of her father's temper and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her family."
Fans were devastated when "The Originals" season 3 ended last year with almost all of the Mikaelson family members incapacitated. Klaus is in a coma after having been stabbed by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Freya (Riley Voelkel) is poisoned, Rebekha (Claire Holt) has become a ripper while Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) were bitten without a known cure.
It was only Hayley who was spared and is said to be planning to make her family back on their feet again. As expected, Marcel and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) will be waiting to stop her from succeeding with her plans.
"The Originals" goes back on air starting Friday, March 17 at The CW at 8/7c. Watch the cast's interview back in Comic-con 2016:
