Celebrity And Real Estate Investor Reese Witherspoon Reveals Newest SoCal Property
The actress has become fairly popular in the real estate market, having purchased and sold some desirable properties from Southern California to Nashville, Tenn.
Reese Witherspoon recently listed her Brentwood, Calif. home for $14 million in the sought after Los Angeles neighborhood. The private estate sits cozy in a gated community, entailing a main residence with the option of purchasing an adjacent lot. The asking price is $10.5 milion for the home and $3.5 million for the 1.3 acre lot.
Curbed revealed pictures of the Mediterranean-inspired property, which includes lush landscapes and a manicured backyard with an outdoor pool and BBQ area, the obvious essentials for any estate in SoCal. The interiors are beautifully decorated with rich wood details that create a genuine level of sophistication, while each room captures a large source of natural sunlight. The residence generates a very homely and welcoming environment even while simply viewing the interior and exterior photographs.
The "Legally Blonde's" next move? She recently purchased a Pacific Palisades home for $12.7 million that was previously owned by architect Ken Ungar. The newly-renovated property received a ceiling to floor update of five bedrooms, including a neutral design approach of beige interiors, and sorry to say, outdated furnishings.
We believe another renovation is in order. View the interiors and see for yourself that the home's current status is a bit bland. We look forward to having access inside the property in the future after Witherspoon gives the new purchase a little TLC. We have full confidence the A-Lister will create an even more grand estate than her immaculate Brentwood home.
Too bad we don't have $14 million hanging around.
